Empowering Students with Pressbooks
Pressbooks is an eBook creation and discovery platform that hosts Open Educational Resources (OER). Thanks to the WA State Board of Community and Technical Colleges network subscription, faculty and staff at Lake Washington Institute of Technology started creating books this year! With seven books completed and many more in progress, faculty have chosen to use Pressbooks as a vehicle for student voice and as a tool for diversity and social justice work. Come learn more about Pressbooks and how LWTech is using it to empower students.
