This workshop will examine the complex issue of homosexuality and religion and how the impact continues to cause a disparity for minorities due to isolation and implications and further discrimination within the community. This workshop will also look at how the intersection causes an internal conflict and ways of coping with the impact of trauma. This workshop although a very serious topic will utilize creativity and humor and analytical insight to provide engaging knowledge and conversation to begin to become comfortable with conversations that makes us uncomfortable.
