Workshop Title: Pride Month & the Parade

In this interactive session, participants will be gilded through the a short history of the Pride movement and parade with an emphasis on queer and trans people that help shape the queer liberation movement. Participants will also reflect on how current LGBTQIA Pride parades have been influenced by the corporatization of pride and explore modern alternatives to mainstream pride celebrations.
