Teaching in the Age of AI: 6 Practical Ways Video Transforms Learning Online
Join us May 7 at 12 PM EST (9 AM PST) for Teaching in the Age of AI: 6 Practical Ways Video Transforms Learning.
Most faculty have settled into some version of the same posture toward AI: cautious engagement, selective restriction, or ongoing uncertainty. However, the hardest challenge is figuring out what course design and assessment should look like with AI in mind.
On May 7, Ian Paice, Panopto's Chief Customer Officer, will be joined by Dr. Derek Bruff, a teaching and learning scholar at the University of Virginia and co-author of the forthcoming Norton Guide to AI-Aware Teaching, to explore how video supports teaching and assessment practices that hold up in an AI-enabled environment.
The session will cover six concrete approaches spanning oral exams, authentic performance assessments, student-created video, and course designs that move the hardest cognitive work back into the classroom.
