Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to gain insight on a number of areas within the workshop topic, to include:

  • Recognize different kinds of stress; survival, short-term and long-term.
  • Understand the effects of stress on the physical body and brain functions.
  • Understand facts related to burnout, depression and breakdown.
  • Understand the stress “cycle”.
  • Understand environmental and job stressors.
  • Gain insight on stress-related illness and disease.
