AI as Learning Enhancement: How Community and Technical College Faculty Can Support Student Learning with AI Online
Discover how artificial intelligence can strengthen—not replace—student learning. This interactive session will explore AI prompting as a complex cognitive skill, creative ways to design AI-integrated assignments, and strategies for transforming existing coursework to include AI learning activities. Faculty from all disciplines are encouraged to join and share ideas from their own programs.
Featuring: Anna Podnozova, Ph.D., AI Education Initiative Leader and Adjunct Professor at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Dr. Podnozova has led AI literacy efforts across multiple institutions, developing practical AI prompt engineering curriculum and educator training grounded in Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Participants will also get an overview of the AI Literacy Module for Educators, a ready-to-use resource for community and technical college faculty.
