Designing Multiple Means of Representation: The Need to Represent Various Perspectives In-Person / Online
Learners differ in the ways they perceive and make meaning of information. Whether it be a sensory or learning disability, students from non-dominant cultures, or students from various generations, we all learn differently. Come join us for a conversation on how we as educators might better represent information to resonate with our diverse student population. We will touch on guidelines such as perception, the use of language and symbols, and how we can build knowledge over time.
This will be a hybrid event. Please also complete this event registration form for food (for those attending in person) and accommodation arrangements.
